Dr Ross Holder

Ross Holder is an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Near and Middle Eastern Studies and post-doctoral researcher at the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College Dublin.

Ross' research interests centre on the intersection of religion and human rights in Asia and he is currently working on a number of projects including the role of Islam and religious freedoms in China's engagement with the Middle East, the initial findings of which were presented at Hong Kong University.

Dr Holder has been involved with a number of human rights organisations and NGOs on issues relating to academic freedoms, migrant rights and freedom of religion or belief.
